the passing of a close friend and singer with us

we lost a good one this christmas – im gutted about Kevin Ryan’s passing… a backing singer with the band on many recordings, a beautiful person, a great musician, amazing songwriter and a best friend – my partner in crime for more than fifteen years – a wonderful soul, gone…
we had so much fun, so many songs, so many kilometres travelled and so much more adventure planned… i don’t know what to do with myself!
i thought i’d share this here video that we were working on. we were going to add some handwriting and drawing but didn’t get around to it 🙁 here we all are, though, immortalised in a moment… kevin and a selection of his friends, playing a song that he wrote about David Bowie’s passing a few years ago, “Mr. Jones”, set upon a collage of videos from the night.
